2. User Responsibilities

  • Use services only for lawful academic enhancement purposes.
  • Refrain from requesting unethical services.
  • Keep login credentials secure and not share your account with others.

3. Service Delivery

3.1 Nature of Services

Uni-Geeks.us connects users with vetted tutors to provide support such as:

  • Formatting according to citation styles (APA, MLA, etc.)
  • Language polishing, grammar checking, and editing
  • Explaining of research methods or concepts

These services are strictly educational and must be used in accordance with your institution’s guidelines.

3.2 Delivery Channels

  • Google Drive or secure file-sharing links, where appropriate

3.3 Service Provision Timeline

Service provision timelines are agreed upon before the payment is made. The expected turnaround time will depend on:

  • Availability of tutors at the time of order

Uni-Geeks.us will inform Users promptly of any unavoidable delays and propose an alternative timeline if needed. The User must explicitly agree to the revised timeline for the service to proceed.

4. Intellectual Property

All content created or edited by tutors on Uni-Geeks.us remains the intellectual property of the Platform unless otherwise agreed in writing. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use the materials for personal academic enhancement and learning.

4.2 Permitted Uses

Users may:

  • Use the received feedback to improve their own writing
  • Refer to the edited documents for citation guidance

Users may not:

6. Payment Terms

6.4 Taxes and Currency

All prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added during checkout, depending on your jurisdiction. Currency conversions or foreign exchange charges are handled by the user’s bank/payment provider.

6.5 Invoice and Payment Confirmation

A payment receipt and service invoice will be sent to the User’s registered email. For clients requiring formal invoicing (e.g., businesses or institutions), custom invoices can be issued upon request.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 Eligibility for Refund

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  • The delivered service does not meet the original specifications agreed upon at the time of payment.
  • The service was not provided within the agreed timeframe, and no revised provision date was accepted by the User.
  • Technical errors or duplicate payments occurred during the transaction process.

We reserve the right to offer partial or full refunds, depending on the nature of the case and the percentage of work completed.

7.2 Timeframe for Request

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 business days from the date the service was provided. Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for review.

7.3 How to Submit a Refund Request

  • Reason for the refund request

Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.

7.4 Evaluation of Requests

Refunds are not granted if:

  • The User approved the provided services.

7.5 Refund Method and Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method or added as account credit. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your payment provider.

7.6 Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with the refund decision, reply to the initial communication with the subject line “Escalation Request”. Our management team will conduct a final review.

8. Modifications to Terms
